Support for individuals experiencing emotional health needs through the reproductive lifespan

“… A fracture appears. You fall to your knees and wonder: is it situational, historical, chemical, ancestral, psychological, mental? It may be all of these. It may be none. Is it just who I am? ”

For over 25 years I have worked with expectant and new parents throughout the lifespan. I can support you in a wide range of experiences. Whether you are on your path to becoming parents, in the thick of postpartum distress, or empty nesters, I can help put a plan into place so that you can start feeling better right away. We can also work deeper and hold space for the bigger things that come up during times of big changes. Some of the areas that I specialize in:

  • Perinatal loss

  • Infertility, conception, and the path to becoming parents

  • Mood changes in pregnancy or postpartum including perinatal anxiety and depression

  • Birth trauma, medical trauma, lactation trauma

  • Support for individuals with a history of perinatal mental health challenges or who are coming into pregnancy/postpartum with existing mental health needs

  • Support for individuals who had difficult childhood experiences and who are expecting or parenting and wrestling with becoming the parent you want to be

  • Individuals wrestling with the internalized messages that we have received as women and femmes, messages around mothering and parenting, and the myth of having it all

  • I generally work with gestational and non gestational moms, non-binary, trans and cis moms at any stage of becoming parents or parenting. I welcome cis men and dads into family therapy when this is indicated/wanted by the primary client

  • I am not taking new clients at this time.
